Norman W. ''Bud'' Zane, age 87 of Wenonah, died Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Bud was born in Glendora and had been a resident of Wenonah for 57 years. He enjoyed hunting, skiing, and being outdoors. Dad was a loyal member of Local 322 and was a union contractor. He also enjoyed working for Woodbury Country Club and then Pitman Golf Course. Husband of Doris L. (nee Eaton), he is also survived by one daughter Sandra (Terry) Whaley of Georgetown, DE, one son Thomas J. Zane, 2 grandchildren, Brian Whaley, Tracey (Charles) Wilkerson, 2 great grandchildren, Amanda and CJ, two sisters Mary Haines, Bertha McDowell, one brother Edward Zane. Mr. Zane was predeceased by son Bruce Norman Zane. Relatives and friends may visit with the family 1 PM to 2:30 PM Saturday, January 21st at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ where funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
