Obituary for Louis R. Vallies

Louis Revere Vallies of New Wilmington formerly of Sewell, NJ, on Tuesday July 22, 2014. He was 83 years old. Mr. Vallies was born in Timblin, PA Armstrong County, PA on Dec. 22, 1940 to the late Senes Gerald and Margaret Hallman Vallies. He first married Betty Lou King who preceded him in death. Then he married Jacqueline Smith Vallies who preceded him in death on June 10, 2014. They operated the Dutch Isle Dairy Barn in New Wilmington, PA. Mr. Vallies served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by three sons: Louis, Ted, and Robert, and 2 step-sons, George and Kenneth. Family and friends are invited to visit 11 AM to 12 Noon Thursday July 31, 2014 at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main St. Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral Service will be held at Noon. Burial to follow at Eglington Cemetery with military honors. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
