Irvin K.  Quenzel
Irvin K. Quenzel age 87, passed away Monday, September 1st, 2014. Irv was a resident of Mantua all of his life. As a young man he delivered ice to many in the area, he later established Quenzel's Sunoco Service Station which is still family operated after 56 years. Irv also worked for the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard and was a Past Master of Mantua Masonic Lodge F & AM # 95. Predeceased by his wife Jean and son Bruce, he is survived by son Robert "Bob" Quenzel & his wife Penny, daughter Patti Granato & her husband Tom, 9 grandchildren Kelly Heilig, Leslie Quenzel, Mandy Weiner, Jason Quenzel, Bryan Quenzel, Bobbi Jean Havers, Danielle Keller, Shane Granato, Ashley Keller, and 18 great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to visit from 6 to 8 PM Friday Sept. 5th and after 9:30 AM Saturday, Sept. 6th at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. Masonic service at 10:15 AM, followed by Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Eglington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Charity of the donor's Choice.
