Anne Marie (Bowers) Zimmerman age 51, of Mantua passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014. Born in Woodbury she was a resident of Gloucester County all of her life. Anne Marie was a graduate of Clearview Regional High School Class of 1981 and was the Homecoming Queen. She has worked for the Bankbridge Special Services District for 17 years as a Specialized Program Assistant. A lover of all animals, Anne Marie enjoyed exercising, walking, working in her yard, baking, cooking, and family parties. Survived by husband John J. Zimmerman Jr, children Lauren Marie Schroeder (Raymond Milanese), John J Zimmerman lll (Amy Barnes), Paul Schroeder, Julia Marie Zimmerman,
grandson Harold G.C. Zimmerman, her father Harry W Bowers Jr, sisters Kathleen Connolly (Brian), Lorraine Carrera (Dominic), brothers Harry W. Bowers lll, John Bowers (Gerri), and especially her dogs Bella, Princess, and Bear. Family and friends are invited to visit from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM Thursday Oct. 2nd and 9 AM to 10 AM Friday, Oct. 3rd, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am in Church Of The Incarnation 240 Main St. Mantua. Burial to follow at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery.
