Richard C.  Read
Richard C. Read age 73, of Woodbury Heights passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. Born in Camden, he worked for Williard Inc. in Jenkintown, PA. Rich enjoyed racquetball, watching professional sports, and collecting stamps, coins, & wildlife items. However, his favorite activity was biking through which he raised money for Multiple Sclerosis by participating in the MS 150 City to Shore ride for many years. He was also a good dancer and danced on American Bandstand a couple of times in his youth.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Gail E. Read (nee Schadt); his children Sharon Geraghty & her husband Glen, and Daniel Read and his wife Diane; four grandchildren Morgan, Cole, Micah, & Lauren; and his sister Karlie Chinery.

Family & friends may visit from 10 AM to 11 AM on Saturday, December 17th, at Southwood Baptist Church, 11 Griscom Lane West Deptford, NJ 08096 where a memorial service will be held at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Southwood Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association. Memories & condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
