Ruth C. Kressley (Lisle) age 83, of Mantua passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at home. Born in Woodbury, she was a resident of Mantua for over 70 years. Ruth was a member of the Mantua United Methodist Church, the choir, the chime choir, and was responsible for the Mantua United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
Wife of the late Allen R. Kressley, she is survived her four children, Allen R. Jr. (Jeanine), Steven (Phyllis), Susan Sullivan (Kevin), Joanne Pape (Carl), nine grandchildren Steven Jr. (Kelly), Michael (Melissa), Brian, Douglas (Kelly), Andrew (Daneen), Julie (Nick), Kevin Sullivan (Linda), Ashlee Sullivan (Natalie), Carl James Pape, five great grandchildren Lindsey, Lacey, Steven 3rd, Michael, Madelyn, her brothers, William H. Lisle Jr. & Robert Lisle (Muriel), her brother-in-law, Carl Kressley (Karen) & her sister-in-law, Sara L. Davidson.
Family & friends may visit from 5 to 8 PM on Tuesday, July 12th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, and from 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday, July 13th, at Mantua United Methodist Church, 201 Mantua Blvd., Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral services will be held 11 AM at the church. Interment will follow at Wenonah Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, contributions can be made to Mantua United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
