Robert L. Barnes Sr. age 77, of Mantua passed away at home on Sunday, August 7, 2016. Born and raised in the Fairview section of Camden, he retired from Cherry Hill Twp. where he worked as an Equipment Operator. In his spare time he enjoyed taking care of his home, and spending time outdoors. Most of all he loved his family and adored his grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marion Barnes (nee Layton), his children; Robert Barnes, Jr., Linda Barnes, and Sharon McCann & her husband Ray, grandchildren; Billy Coles, Joey Coles, Katie McCann, and Raymond McCann, great grandchildren; Brayden & Marlayna, brother; Edward Barnes & his wife Marie, brother-in-law; Walter Layton & his wife Georgia, and several nieces & nephews.

Family & friends may visit from 9 to 11 AM on Monday, August 15th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, where a funeral service will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Woodbury Memorial Park in West Deptford. Memories & condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
