James William ""Jim""  Mooney
James William Mooney "Jim" age 75, of Deptford passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at home. Jim served in the Army and was a Deptford Township resident for 47 years. He enjoyed fishing, dogs, traveling to Vermont to visit friends, painting, the Beatles, the Dallas Cowboys and helping others. Jim was a lifelong Methodist and a member of the United Methodist Church of Mantua. Husband of Joyce Mooney (nee Toman) for 47 years, also survived by nieces & nephews Melissa Houghton (Greg), Anthony Weaver (Christina), Russell Waltimeyer (Jennifer), Wesley Waltimeyer; great nieces & nephews Catherine, Anthony, Sophia, Jackson, Ethan & Elizabeth; brother-in-law John Waltimeyer (Margaret); and Jims' beloved dog Sheba. Predeceased by parents John & Geraldine Mooney and sister Patricia Weaver and her husband Tony. Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 15th, at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to United Methodist Church of Mantua 201 Mantua Blvd. Mantua, NJ 08051. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
