Obituary for John Thomas Barker

John Thomas Barker age 68, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 20, 2016. Born in Danville, VA, John was a resident of West Deptford and attended Living Grace Bible Church in Mullica Hill. Nothing gave him greater joy than sharing the love of Christ, helping others, and being with family and friends. His love and friendship was treasured by many, who miss him dearly. However, he would not want us to grieve in sadness of his passing but rather rejoice that he is in Heaven with his Lord.

Loving husband of Rosemarie (nee McKinney) for 35 years, he is also survived by sons; Daniel and David, and his mother; Betty Cole (William). John was predeceased by his father; George Barker, and sister; Patricia Goodman.

Family & friends may visit from 12 PM to 1:30 PM on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Living Grace Bible Church, 264 Tony Circle, Mantua, NJ 08051.
