Robert Elliott  Hudgins III
Robert E. Hudgins III age 76, of Sewell passed away Friday, December 2, 2016. Bob was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised in Swarthmore, PA. He is an alumni of Franklin & Marshall College with a degree in accounting. During his career, he worked several jobs with his longest tenure at Hahnemann University as an internal auditor and then administrator for the hematology/oncology department.He was actively involved in the community after moving to Mantua Twp. He served on the Township Committee 13 years and appointed Mayor for 5 years. He was a member of the Mantua Lions Club where he served as president in 2011.In later years, he enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. Husband of Bernice (nee Lonia) also survived by son Robert E. Hudgins IV (Kandice), daughter Susan Juter (Stephen); 3 grandchildren Jordan, Jessica, Shawn, and sister Harriet Hudgins. Family and Friends are invited to visit from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 5th, and from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday, December 6th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Wenonah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Donation Processing, The Michael J.
