Obituary for Daisy E. Fanslau (Schwartz)

Daisy E. Fanslau (nee Schwartz) age 82, of Thorofare passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, December 13, 2016. She is now reunited with her husband, the love of her life, “her Bob”, who predeceased her on December 29, 2013. She helped operate the family business Bowers and Fanslau with Bob for many years. Daisy and Bob were inseparable. She loved watching her granddaughters Tara and Tami at their sporting events and any activity that they were involved in. She enjoyed going to the casino and watching Phillies games. Daisy liked helping at the oyster dinners at the Thorofare Fire House, always looked forward to their yearly trip to Wildwood for the Fireman’s Convention and summer vacations in Sea Isle City with her family. She loved entertaining people at their home and enjoyed having their annual Christmas party at their garage for family, friends, and customers. Daisy loved her family very much and truly enjoyed life. During the last couple of years Daisy looked forward to going to Evergreen Court, adult daycare, where she was happy and well taken care of.
Wife of the late Robert J. Fanslau Jr., she is survived by her daughter Deanna Kyser and her husband Charlie, granddaughters Tara and Tami, and her brother Bud (Pat) Schwartz. Brother-in-law Ken Fanslau and his wife Pat, sister-in-law Delores Shute, nephew Ken and his wife April who took part in her care giving, other nieces and nephews, and her special caregivers.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Smith
Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral service will be held at 1 PM. Burial to follow at
Woodbury Memorial Park in W. Deptford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Evergreen Court Adult
