Obituary for John Joseph ""Jack"" Mohnacs

John J. Mohnacs "Jack" of West Deptford, NJ age 83, passed away peacefully in Woodbury, NJ. Devoted husband of Betty Mohnacs (Furey) who preceded him in death. Devoted husband of Jean Mohnacs (Morgan). Father of daughter Betty Anderson BSN RN-BC (John), John P. Mohnacs, Esq., Brother of William Mohnacs (Loretta) of West Deptford. Stepfather to John Morgan, and Thomas Morgan (Lauren) and six grandchildren.
Jack served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and graduated from Southeast Catholic H.S. of Philadelphia class of 1951. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from St. Joseph's University. He retired from Pennwalt Corp. (Arkema Corp.) in 1997, where he spent 34 years as a Marketing Manager in the Fluorochemicals Division. Jack was an active member of the American Architectural Association, Architectural Spray Coaters Association, Metal Construction Association, National Coil Coaters, and a longtime member of the Philadelphia Chapter of The Construction Institute, where he once held the office of V.P.
Jack loved his work and his many friends at Pennwalt. Upon retirement, Jack became Director of the Architectural Spray Coaters Association. Jack and his wife Jean loved taking trips to Atlantic City and loved to go to Lago Mar Florida.
Jack will be remembered and missed by his family and many friends.
Friends and family are invited to visit from 9:45am to 10:45am Thursday January 26th, at Church of the Incarnation 240 Main Street Mantua NJ. Mass of Christian burial will take place at 11:00am followed by interment at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery in Monroe Twp., NJ.
