Captain David L. Strain Jr. age 82, of Mantua passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at home. Born in Woodbury, he was born to David L. Strain Sr. and Ethel M. Millhouse Strain. Dave served in the US Coast Guard, and was a Boat Captain & Boat Builder. His family owned and operated a Bait Shop and Restaurant in Fortescue, NJ.

He is survived by his brother, Joseph Strain, nieces Teri Ruth, Cindy Canterella & Kimberly Mahoney, nephew Lewis Strain, and dear friend Raymond Wojcik. Dave was predeceased by his brother Lewis Strain.
