Robert "Rube"  Landwher
Robert "Rube" Landwher age 81, of Mantua passed away Saturday, March 11th, 2017. He graduated from Pitman High and served in the Navy. Robert had been employed at the Philadelphia Shipyard and had been a member of the Mantua Masonic Lodge and Lawson-Cox VFW Post. In his younger days, Robert loved riding his Indian motorcycle. He loved his boats and being on the water. He loved being outdoors, especially camping and sitting around a campfire with family, friends and loved ones.

Predeceased by his wife Julie Landwher (nee Adams), he is survived by his children Robert Marshall Landwher (Cynthia), Ruthanne Tevis (Andy), Ronda Vitale (Dennis), Robert Landwher (Kelly); stepchildren Harry Starner (Connie), Kathleen Register (Kevin), Barbara Coleman (Paul), Thomas Starner; sister Viola Yeager; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, March 18th, at Smith Funeral Home 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral Service and military honors will be held at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crescenz VA Medical Center, Attention: Voluntary Service, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
