Obituary for John G. vanOyen

John G. vanOyen (Jan Gysbrecht) April 13 1941-March 19 2017. Born Easter Sunday on the Island of Aruba to Dutch parents William A. vanOyen and Eloise A. vanDyck. After the war they returned to their Homeland in Den Hague, Holland. In 1950 they immigrated to the USA, where they settled in the oil town of Paulsboro. It is here where he worked for Mobil oil for 25 years and started his own family, five children, Deborah, John A., Mark, Steven and Dannielle (Benedetto). He is survived by long time companion Sally Mundell, brother Bill vanOyen and sister Eloise H. Ewen. He now joins his parents and recently deceased brother Andre vanOyen. John’s legacy will live on through his 11 grandchildren. Funeral services are private. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
