Geraldine Costello Katz "Deanie" age 87, of Mantua formerly of Philadelphia passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2017. She was born in Atlantic City to the late Francis A. Costello Sr. and Elizabeth R. (nee Murphy). Deanie worked as a bookkeeper for Bernie Rothbard Agency in Philadelphia and then for her husband at Lefty's Restaurant also in Philadelphia. She loved aerobics, tap dancing, and performed ballet until the age of 60. Deanie enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles, cross stitch, and knitting. Most of all she loved her family and friends.

Wife of the late Samuel "Lefty" Katz, she is survived by her siblings, Mary Lou Grant of Freehold, NJ, Bart Costello of Marco Island, FL, Anne Costello of Miramar Beach, FL, Ray Costello of Miramar Beach, FL, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews. Deanie was also predeceased by her siblings, Joe Costello, Elizabeth Costello, John Costello, Francis Costello Jr., and Rita Tierney.

Family and Friends may visit from 10 am to 11 am on Monday, June 12th, at Church Of The Incarnation 240 Main Street, Mantua, NJ where a memorial Mass will be held at 11 am. Interment will be private.
