Dorothy Ann Appel age 80, of Mantua passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Born in Philadelphia to Charles Tesauro and Mary (nee Sanish). Wife of the late Harold J. Appel, she had been a resident of Mantua since 1956. Dorothy and her husband built the third house in the Centre City section of Mantua. She was a movie buff, and was an excellent scrabble player. Most of all she was a great mother.

She is survived by her sons, Harry Appel, Michael Appel & his wife Karen, and Charles Appel, two grandsons, Harrison & Brandon, and three great grandchildren Henry, Ella, and Vanessa.

Family may visit from 10 am to 11 am on Friday, June 30th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street Mantua, NJ Interment will be private. Memories & condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
