Obituary for Charles J. Gerber Sr.

Charles J. Gerber Sr. age 85, of Mantua Township passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017. Charles served in the Army during the Korean War and was retired from Gulf Oil as a Plant Manager.

Husband for 63 years of Charlotte (Symonowicz) Gerber, also survived by children, Cathleen (Michael) DiCiccio of Elmer, Cynthia (Ted) Peck of Mullica Hill, Charles J. Gerber, Jr. of Mantua, grandchildren, Christopher (Michaline) DiCiccio, Douglas DiCiccio, Veronica (Christopher) Brattelli, Gregory (Jessica) Peck and Rachael (Jared) Sharp, and great grandchildren, Jordan Brattelli, Ryleigh DiCiccio, Abigail Peck and Mckenzie Sharp. He was predeceased by siblings Richard, Walter and Lynn.

Family and Friends are invited to visit from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Monday at Catholic Community Of The Holy Spirit At Holy Name Of Jesus Church, 17 Earlington Avenue, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062 with Fr. Raymond Gormley officiating. Burial to follow at Holy Name Of Jesus Cemetery.
