Condolences

Condolence From: Denis Mercier
Condolence: My sincere condolences to Karen and the Kravchucks who live in my former home. I am also a South Jersey Times alum who got to know Jim Even better than as a reader of his column when he became my editor. I wrote about classic cars and the crazy people who owned and loved them. Jim's comments, corrections and suggestions were delivered with humor but always just what the article needed. He was THE consummate professional. I was also fortunate enough to attend many of his musical performances. Loved those poetic and witty lyrics! Rest in peace, my friend!

Condolence From: Sharyn Fooks
Condolence: We've never met, yet you've given me many years of joy and laughter through your columns. We were born in the same decade so a lot of your stories hit home. We became Facebook friends and I grieved as you suffered. I rejoiced over your Badass tattoo and thought you'd beat this. My condolences to your closest companion and the rest of your loved ones. You're now the leader of the rockabilly band in heaven. Rest in peace.
