John D. Raffo Jr., age 76, of Mantua passed Saturday, December 2, 2017. John was a science teacher in Haddonfield, Woodbury, and at Glassboro State College. He was known for his crazy ties that his students loved giving him. He enjoyed fishing, scuba diving, boating, and attending auctions. Visiting the Florida Keys was a favorite. He loved to talk and always knew the answer on how to fix anything. He will be greatly missed by his family – children: Susan (Mark) Nicolle, Meg (Michael) O’Neill, Jennifer Raffo, and Jaclyn (Robyn) Mayo.
Grandchildren: Katie, Peggy, and Tommy Nicolle and Amanda O’Neill. Predeceased by grandson, Sean O’Neill. Family and Friends are invited to visit from 1:30-3:30 PM on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Smith Funeral Home with a Memorial Service at 3:30 PM at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ.
