Joseph Francis Kappeler age 96, of Woodbury passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017. Born in Camden, he was a resident of West Deptford for most of his life. He served in the Navy during World War ll and started General Fuel Supply in 1946. They enjoyed traveling and visited many places throughout the world. Husband of Florence Kappeler (Nicolai), also survived by daughter Joann Colgan (Bob), son Carl Kappeler, 2 grandchildren Jennifer (Vlad), Michael, and great granddaughter Holly.
Family and Friends are invited to visit from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ 08051. Funeral Service will be held at Noon. Burial with military honors to follow at Gloucester County Veterans Cemetery in Monroe Township, NJ 08094. Donations can be made to Gloucester County Animal Shelter 1200 N.
