Karl J. Ziegenfuss age 63, of Mullica Hill passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. Born in Ridley Park, PA to the late Joseph Ziegenfuss and Ruth (nee Weber), he worked for Verizon for 40 years and retired as a Systems Engineer in Philadelphia. Karl was also a member of the Norwood Fire Company for 19 years.
Karl is survived by his wife Kathleen (nee Grimes), two daughters, Amanda Ziegenfuss and Sarah Ziegenfuss and her husband Max Gambill, his mother-in-law Hilda Grimes, and granddogs, Lotus and Pyramid. He was a loving husband, father, and friend who would do anything for anyone. His daughters called him Superman. He was truly the rock of his family.
Family and Friends may visit from 6 pm to 8 pm on Monday, January 8th, at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ and Tuesday, January 9th, from 9 am to 10 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 284 Cedar Road, Mullica Hill, NJ. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Broomall, PA.
