Obituary for William Walter Moore

William Walter Moore, 70, of Pitman, New Jersey, beloved husband and father, entered into eternal peace on Monday, February 19, 2018, after five and half years of a courageous battle with cancer. Born to the late Walter Moore and Geraldine Moore on January 7, 1948 he lived most of his life in Pitman, New Jersey. Bill
attended Pitman Grammar School, Pitman High School before receiving a BA at Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania. Bill is survived by his wife of 18 years Linyu, and by his daughter Katie, a soon to be
freshman in high school, and a few nephews and other relatives. Bill worked as an accountant for IRS and a few car dealerships in the area. He also enjoyed running his own accounting business. Bill has been a huge football fan his entire life and is very proud that the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the members of the Cooper Hospital, Cooper MD Anderson Cancer Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and ProCure Proton Therapy Center. Their dedication and effort to provide quality service and care were a heartwarming blessing to the entire family. We thank God for the gift of his life and precious time we spent with him. A memorial service will be held honoring William on Saturday, February 24, meet the family at 10:00am, service begins at 11:00 am at Fellowship Bible Church, located at 590 Jackson Rd, Sewell, NJ 08080. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution payable to Katie Moore Education Fund and mail to Linyu Moore, 84 Heather Drive South, Mantua, NJ 08051.
