Vincent R. ''Sonny'' DiBernardo, age 81 of Somers Point, NJ fought his last battle on July 12, 2010 at the Wilmington VA Medical Center. Born and raised in Philadelphia along with his two brothers, Michael and Anthony, Vince was a decorated veteran of the Korean War and only ended his military career after being severely wounded. Upon his return from military service, Vince went on to numerous successful careers in life, most recent of which was retirement when he spent as much time fishing as he could.

In addition to his brothers, Vince is survived by his children, Vincent DiBernardo III, Dr. Liz Di Bernardo, Gina Hecker (Randy), Margie Follette (Hugh) and grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan, Zachary and Riley, as well as his beloved nieces and nephews.
