Ronald Albert Swanson, age 75 of Paulsboro, died Monday, Aug.16, 2010 at home surrounded by his family. Ronald was born in Philadelphia and had been a resident of Paulsboro for 47 years. He served in the Navy, then worked as a crane operator at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, the Crime Lab of Gloucester County Prosecutors Office, and then retired from A & P Plumbing. He was a member of the Sportsman Club, enjoyed watching all of the Philadelphia Sports teams, and camping. Most of all he loved the grandkids, the shore at the Cape May Villas. Husband of Lena M.(nee Palladino), also survived by son Ronald Thomas Swanson & his wife Maria of Paulsboro, daughter Christine Rossi & her husband Randy of Woolwich Twp., two granddaughters Adriana & Alessandra, and a grandson to be born in September. Also two brothers Charles Swanson & his wife Sherry of Franklinville and Wayne Swanson & his wife Judy of Washington Twp. Relatives and friends may visit with the family 9 to 10:45 AM Friday at St. John's RC Church, 647 Beacon Ave., Paulsboro, NJ where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM.
