Condolences

Condolence From: Shana
Condolence: To Kathleen's family and friends,
I worked with Kathleen for about 4 years at Starbucks as a coworker, then as her employee, when she became a manager. We would always laugh about how we were the two remaining employees, from the original hiring crew (we had witnessed and experienced the good and bad with the coffee crazed customers). We worked just about every weekend together which means we got to do a lot of talking. Kathleen became a friend and someone I could talk to about things and vice versa. She shared great stories of her trips up to Philly to visit family and even came back to Tennessee with the saying “YOLO”. (She was OBSESSED with that phrase). Over the years of working with her, she developed close relationships with some of her regulars who were always very excited to see her working. It saddens me to hear about her illness and passing. She will truly be missed.

Condolence: Kathleen's family & friends, although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, God is eager to bring our loved ones back to life (Job 14:13-15). He further promise that all those in the common grave of mankind will be resurrected (John 5:28-29). May these words give you peace and comfort now and in the days ahead.

Condolence: To the family of Kathleen, I never met you, but Kathleen spoke very fondly of you. She was my favorite barista for a long time at the Kroger Starbucks in Spring Hill. Every Sunday, I would come in and she and I would chat about family, friends, faith, work, hair cuts...and coffee. I was sad when she took the managerial promotion within the Kroger store - but happy for her at the same time. Many times we would pass in the isle and chat for a minute. I had not seen her for a while and some of her previous Starbucks staff told me that she had "been very sick and had moved back up north" to heal. I was sad for her, but never did I think in my heart that she would pass this soon. I was stunned when I opened up the paper today and read the news. Peace to you all, her friends and family, who are left with fond memories. My life is better having had her in it. God Bless - Sincerely, Corrie Marvin
