Marguerite D. Fischer, 95, of Wellford, SC, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015. She was the widow of the late Louis T. Fischer, Jr. and the daughter of the late Elbert and Francis Camburn Harris of Manahawkin, N.J.
Mrs. Fischer was a member of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church in Wenonah, NJ, a member of Lawson Cox VFW, and formerly a welder with Camden Shipyard in Camden, N.J.
Mrs. Fischer is survived by daughters Elizabeth Fischer and Kathleen “Kit” Craven and her husband Tim; sons Charles Fischer and his wife Natalie, and Robert Fischer and his wife Ida; Daughter-in-law Janice; twenty-one grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren which include Aiden Tripet and Baby Girl Cocchi soon to arrive; and many nieces and nephews and their children.
Mrs. Fischer was predeceased by two sons, Elbert H. Fischer and Louis T. Fischer, III; two granddaughters, Candace and Lauren; one grandson, Michael Bumbaugh; three brothers, Al, Jesse and Charlie; two sisters, Gloria Harris and Donna Loveday.
Funeral Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 21, 2015 at Smith Funeral Home, 47 Main Street, Mantua, NJ with graveside service immediately following in Bethel Memorial Park, Pennsauken, NJ.
