William "Bill" Newport age 59, of Pitman passed away Friday, November 6, 2015.Son of William Newport and the late Elizabeth Newport (nee Wolfrum). He is survived by his devoted wife Edith (nee Edwards) of 28 years. Also survived by daughter Edie Phillips and her husband Matthew, granddaughter Alaina, son William Newport, sisters Joyce Heron and husband Bill, and Sandy Fowler and husband Sonny. Bill was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family.
