Obituary for John J Collins Jr.

John J. Collins, Jr. age 88, of West Deptford and formerly Wenonah, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Woodbury Mews. John served in the Air Force during the Korean War, received his Bachelors' degree from George Washington University and his Masters' degree from Rowan University. He was retired after 30 years as a Guidance Counselor for Deptford Township Schools. John enjoyed a good game of cards. Husband of the late Lillian Collins, he is survived their daughter Lynn Collins and cousin Tom Bowe. Family and Friends are invited to visit from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, August 26th, 2016 at Church Of The Incarnation 240 Main Street Mantua, New Jersey 08051. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday. Burial with military honors to follow at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of the donors choice. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.smithfhmantua.com
