Rosemary W. Wehrle (Werth)
Rosemary W. Wehrle age 98, of Clarksboro passed away peacefully at home on July 4, 2017. Rosemary was born in Lebanon, PA and raised in Altoona. An accomplished pianist, she also ran her own dance studio and performed in various venues in the area. Rosemary met her future husband when her friend pressed her brother, Joseph, to be a fourth in a doubles tennis game. They married during WWll and eventually Joseph's new job at Mobil settled them in Clarksboro.

Rosemary had many interests and could hold a conversation on nearly any topic from cooking to cars. She enjoyed bowling, attending dinner dances and shopping. She served as president for St. Patrick's School PTA several times and played piano for the Catholic Daughters of America. Rosemary was also active in managing the non-profit "Leprechaun Shoppe" whose proceeds benefited St. John of God for over 30 years.

Rosemary was a skilled cake decorator and word of mouth brought many to her door with orders for birthdays, weddings and other occasions. She decorated her last wedding cake for her granddaughter's wedding when she was 80.

Rosemary embraced Christian principles and carried them out throughout her life.

Rosemary was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Joseph, and the loving mother of Marian (Lenny) Smith, Joan (John) Tierno, Robert (Linda) Wehrle, Lois (Benedict) Carrozza, Rosalie (Lou) Konowal, Thomas (Susan) Wehrle and Donna (Frank) Piarulli and loving grandmother of 17 grandchildren and great grandmother of 20, dear sister to Louise Behe and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
