My Tante Gerry touched my life in a deep and profound way. I will treasure and hold so many memories of her close to my heart.
I miss her immensely.
I look forward to the day we are reunited in glory.
Only today I heard the sad news of Gerry's passing. I wish I had known, I would certainly have tried to come over.
We go back a long time, from the time I spent and stayed with the entire Van Brill family (in the old house) and pushing concrete in the business to the multiple visits and interactions throughout the years after that. I have nothing but wonderful memories, Gerry's unparalelled hospitality and enthusiasm, the Indo connection, her love for Joop, her children and grandchildren. I feel sad Ive not been able to speak to her in her last year. My heart is with her.
My deepfelt condolences to Joop and the rest of the family, Michael/Suzanne, Robert/Diane, Hans/Linda, Henske, Ralph and wider family.
Marcel
my heartfelt condolences to the Van Schenk Brill family. I had a fantastic time as an 18 year old staying at the Van Brills in Sewell, not in the least because of tante Ger's hospitality and kindness..
Best
Ian
Iam deeply sadden by the loss of Mrs. Van Brill, she treated, loved and nurtured me as if I was one of her very own children.
I will always love her and feel extremely grateful that I had the opportunity for her to touch my life in such a positive way.
May she continue to walk in beauty through the go;den gates of heaven.
May the Good Lord keep the family strong in such difficult times as we all celebrate her supreme life on earth.
Mrs.V's warm and loving demeanor made us feel like family from the moment we met her. She was so easy to talk to and was always eager to share her stories or use her wisdom to help solve problems! I will never forget the many life lessons she taught me - the most important ones being how to forgive and to cherish family. She treasured every one of her children, grandchildren & family members and the joy they brought her was always evident. Mrs.V will be missed terribly but she will be lovingly remembered forever. We hope the Van Brill family can find peace and comfort in knowing how loved she was by all who knew her.
All Our Love,
Angela and Adam McEvoy
Our sincere condolences to the entire VanBrill family. God speed to all of you as you celebrate Mrs. VanBrill's amazing life and as you prepare to say farewell. Our hearts and prayers are with you.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. I remember the BBQ's and pool as a little girl. She always had so much food! I saw her a few years ago at the store and her huge smile and hug reminded me of the sweet lady I knew growing up. Rest in Peace Mrs. Van Brill
So sorry to hear about the passing of Gerrie. Wishing Joop, the children and grandchildren lots of strength in dealing with your loss! Are thoughts are with you all.
