Scouting

I have so many stories to tell about Frank Eggert and they are all about what great things he did. I went to Philmont SR with him and others in 1976. I will never forget that trip. I went up to Chimney Rock several times with him and the troop, at Christmas time and in the summer. These are memories I will always treasure. But I think the biggest thing is that he inspired me to be a scout leader. I was a scoutmaster for my son's troop for several years. While a scoutmaster in Delaware, we went to Roosevelt scout camp in 2005 and there was Frank. He helped our scout troop pick a conservation project to work on. It was great seeing him again. I am sad to know that I will not see him again, but he will always be in my heart. Jim
