Boy Scout Troop 50

As the previous Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 50, I have to say it was always a pleasure to work with Mr. Eggert. We always called him Mr. Eggert because he had earned the respect of the Troop and it was always the appropriate way to speak with him. He helped the troop whenever he could and sat on many Eagle Scouts final Broad of Reviews. What I understand was that he was always tough but always fair. He was very important in getting Eagle projects approved. He also worked on all of the trails in Wenonah. He helped one of our scouts earn the rank of Eagle Scout by being involved in building the trail that runs around the Wenonah Lake. I know it will be hard to come back to Wenonah for 4th of July and not see Mr. Eggert carrying the America Flag in the parade or speaking with him for a short time. Wenonah and the Boy Scouts have lost a great man. Mr. Eggert, RIP and be with all the other Scouters in Heaven.
